Job Opportunity: Full-Time Senior Maintenance Technician

Location: Portland Metropolitan Area

Position Summary: Are you someone who enjoys working independently and thrives in various work settings? Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! This full-time position involves extensive travel throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

Our client is a leading company in property management and construction, dedicated to providing high-quality services to our tenants in the greater Portland Metro area.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in property management maintenance preferred.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, self-motivation, and efficiency. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish a plus. 
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Vehicle: Must have a truck or similar working vehicle.
• Tools: Must have your tools, including a ladder.
• Background Check: Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reference Check: Candidates must provide professional references

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete work order requests efficiently and accurately.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Conduct drywall repairs and painting (interior and exterior).
• Turn vacant units and prepare them for new tenants.
• Lift and move items up to 75 lbs.
• Organize, schedule, and prioritize work orders effectively.
• Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards.
• Efficiently use G-mail and Google calendar on a smart phone,
• Timely completion of daily paperwork,

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Schedule:
• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift (Monday to Friday)
• On-call duties on nights and weekend rotation.
