Material Logistics Coordinator
Our client, a leader in the commercial flooring business, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and focused Material Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the operations manager, the Material Logistics Coordinator maintains a clean, organized warehouse, including all tools and shop supplies. This role supports the installation and project teams by maintaining accurate inventory records ensuring the materials are accurately entered, labeled and organized, in a timely manner, for efficient delivery to job sites.
The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented self-starter who prioritizes and communicates effectively, has a safety mindset, and works outside of their job duties for the good of the team/company/client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes pride in an organized, tidy warehouse
- Ensures all material is safely secured before stocking shelves
- Maintains accurate labeling of materials with job number, material description, quantity, and weight
- Keeps warehouse inventory separated and shelved in designated areas for quick inventory counts
- Re-orders and stocks shelves, monitoring inventory levels of sundries stock
- Provides correct materials to jobsites 100% of the time
- Receives and confirms inbound shipments match BOL description/quantity and inspects for damage
- Updates project materials lists
- Pulls, stages, and loads outbound shipments
- Manages local pick-up process of material
- Maintains a clean, organized warehouse and tool trailer by cleaning and sweeping the warehouse/tool trailer daily
- Tracks and stores company tool inventory, in an organized and tidy manner
- Notifies PM of inbound shipments
- Coordinates and performs warehouse improvements
- Assists with vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Tracks warranty storage and lists and liquidates once past warranty period
- Tracks returned materials and liquidates and/or disposes on expiration date
- Takes out the garbage each week
- Sorts and stacks wood, ceramic tile, 80 lb sacks of powder
- Uses shrink wrap and operates a banding machine to secure products

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base Pay - $55K-65K annually
- Healthcare Insurance – 100% individual coverage
- Vacation pay: 2 weeks per year (includes vacation and sick time)
