Sales Development Representative

Hallandale, FL

Our client, now in their 47th year in the Souvenir Business, selling to Zoo's, Aquariums, Museums, Theme Parks, Airport Shops, Cruise Ships, and Souvenir Gift Shops is seeking a high energy, motivated, and well-organized experienced Sales & Marketing individual with a strong business acumen. The role of Sales Development Representative will have a proven track record for owning key accounts, fostering relationships, effectively negotiating, and delivering results. 

Responsibilities for this position focus on:

  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn into long-term partnerships
  • Present products to prospective clients
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients to understand their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming at customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) a plus! 
  • Able to travel to 4 to 6 trade shows per year
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing 
  • Enjoy challenges and problem-solving!
  • Desires to be a dynamic contributor and individual on a team; not a number!
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate!
  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing

Location/Job Type: This role is a full-time salaried role. The team environment is crucial to the success of this role and requires work to be performed in-office (when not traveling or visiting customers) in the client's Hallandale, FL office.
